Dashboards are a reporting mechanism that aggregates and displays key metrics (KPIs) and indicators so that they can be examined at a glance by all possible audiences. Dashboards help improve decision making by revealing and communicating contextual information on metrics to display indicators with intuitive visualization, including graphs, scales, gauges and traffic lights that show the progress of indicators towards defined objectives.
