Backlinks from websites with a high domain authority and relevance in the same topic as one’s own site have a higher value in terms of SEO. Proper indexing of these backlinks by search engines is essential for them to contribute positively to the website’s SEO.

On the other hand, low quality links or links from irrelevant websites can even have a negative impact on SEO. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly monitor the link building strategy, avoiding practices considered as “spam” by search engines, such as the massive purchase of links or the participation in unnatural link exchange schemes.
